• Colorado Watercolor Society 18th Annual Exhibition: Best of Show Award 2009 National Exhibition Judge and Juror of Awards for the following watercolor societies: Francese was selected to be Judge and Juror for the Colorado Watercolor Society's 18th Annual Exhibition 2009.
• Western Federation Watercolor Society 34th Annual Exhibition: Honorable Mention/Cash Award 2009
• 88th National Exhibition: Henry Fukuhara Award. Painting selected for th 2009 National Traveling Exhibition 2008
• Watercolor West 40th National Exhibition: Don O'Neil Award 2008
• Colorado Watercolor Society 17th Annual Exhibition: Jurors Award 2008
• National Watercolor Society 87th Annual National Exhibition 2007; City of Brea Gallery, Brea, CA.
“Marathon, Florida Keyes” received the “Milford Zornes Award” [creation of the watercolor without any photography aid]. Also was chosen for the NWS Travel Exhibition for 2007-2008.

• Western Federation of Watercolor Societies 32nd Annual Exhibition 2007; Arvada Center for the Arts, Westminster, CO. “Whitby, England” received Award of Merit”[ 148 paintings selected from 1,034 entries from nine different watercolor societies across Western United States]
• Transparent Watercolor Society of America 31st National Juried Exhibition 2007, Elmhurst Art Museum, Elmhurst, IL. “Whitby, England II” received the “Vivian “Chevy” Chevillon Award”.
